This: 390023272802 8' 2Pc Heddon Deluxe FG seems to have the same kind of tube and the tube is longer than the 1290/1380 tubes. I considered asking the seller if the tube was original. You should be able to find a tube for a fraction of that. The 8'6" 1390 is pretty hefty and will wear your arm out. With any wear on them they don't tend to sell for very much... way less than $100.

Nice 1390.

The Ridged Tubes on the 1390, 1290, and P1290 Wonderods ARE very sturdy. The socks are also nicer than the socks on any other Wonderods I have(Brass balls on the end of the draw strings for one thing).
