Here&#39;s the Bead Head Gartside Sparrow I use quite a bit in warm water. For some reason I can&#39;t tie a proper looking woolly bugger but this pattern will

			<description><![CDATA[ A few months ago Ken sent me four of his Bearded Peacock patterns for this post.  On first look I just knew that this pattern would work on the rivers in the
Southeast as well waters elsewhere.  There is just something about peacock herl that will get a fish&#39;s attention.  This pattern is unusual in the fact that
it is part weighted nymph and part soft hackle wet fly.

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve never ordered anything from Sierra Trading Post before, but today I noticed they had Dr. Slick scissors for super deals.  The scissors I have now have
lived a long life and it is safe to say they are so dull they couldn&#39;t cut a fart.

I went ahead and ordered a curved pair, a pair of iris scissors and a pair of hair scissors.  The scissors don&#39;t have the gold loops, but they are Dr.

I just heard that Jack Gartside passed away last night from cancer. Jack was one of a kind.  A very passionate fly fisherman and tyer. I was fortunate to have

			<title><![CDATA[ Getting ready for Florida bass ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ One day for peacocks in the canals, one day for largemouth in the &#39;glades.  Just two weeks hence.  It&#39;s all I&#39;m thinking about.  I tied these to
toss into the salad - on 2/0 Ad Sweir Pike Hooks with mono weedguard. The flies measure 6&quot; long and have a slider design head that I spun tight, but not
too tight.  They should pick up a bit of water and ride low, or even just below the surface throwing a big wake.

			<description><![CDATA[ Hey gang, just wanted to share with you that the fly that we tied  a couple of weeks ago. I tweeked that pattern a bit, before going out this am. I used a
longer, stainless steel hook, which allowed me to use a larger piece of the mylar tubing. This created a fatter belly, and then I used big eyes to finish it
off.

			<title><![CDATA[ Storing Hackes and Hair ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I was wondering how you all store your feathers and hair.  Recently I brought all of my stuff into my local fly shop to get things inventoried and organized. 
The owner of the shop told me to get all of my hair and feathers in containers with mothballs.  I had stuff in bins, but some stuff was not in baggies.

I was told to keep everything packaged separately and stored in plastic containers.  Adding a few mothballs to the container kept everything kosher.

			<title><![CDATA[ Feathers for Briminator ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Beauglass taught me how to tie the briminator and I will be forever grateful.  Here&#39;s a pic of the feather used to tie the fly from a ring neck and from a
golden.  The bottom of the feather is used for the tail (half) and the other half is used for the dubbing on body and around eyes.  The top of the feather is
used to palmer the collar behind the eyes.  Dane is tight so he sez one feather, one fly!!!!!-p-
